How a season works.
There is nothing to register for. Make an account, set up your squad and play: every eligible game lands on the board for your format as it ends.

Stream your games and MutRadar reads them. Any game against a real opponent in Madden 27 counts.

Ranked by wins, then point differential, then fewer losses. The top four on each board at the end go to the playoffs.
What counts.
The board is only worth climbing if every game on it was a real one, so the rules are short and the same for everyone.
COUNTS
- A game MutRadar reads from your stream, from kickoff to the final.
- Against a real opponent, in Madden NFL 27.
- Kicked off while the season is on. A game live at the changeover counts in the season it started in.
- MUT games and NFL-team games, each on boards of their own, by format.
DOES NOT COUNT
- Games against the computer. Played a real opponent the app read as the CPU? Tell us from the game and an admin rules on it.
- Tournament games. A bracket is its own competition.
- Games in another Madden.
Results can be reported for seven days after a season ends. Then it settles, and its final board never changes.

Each format keeps its own board: 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3, for MUT and for NFL teams. Past seasons stay in the app, one tap away, and nothing is ever deleted.

The board counts the current season only, so every squad starts it at 0–0. The top four on it when the season ends go to the playoffs.
13 badges, every season.
Each MUT board gives three trophies and ten stat badges, one holder each, and ties share; Untouchable goes to every squad with a perfect record. A squad needs eight games on a board to qualify. NFL-team boards give the trophies. Badges are awarded when the season is final, every player who played for the squad holds them, and each player picks three for their player page.

Every season ends in playoffs. The top four on each format’s board, 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3, play a one-night, single-elimination bracket, with the next two on standby, and the winner is that format’s season champion. The regular-season number one keeps a 1st place badge of its own, and a playoff can carry prizes too, announced with it.

When does Season 2 start?
Friday, November 6, 2026, at 8:53 PM ET. It runs four weeks, to Friday, December 4, at 8:53 PM ET, and every squad starts it at 0–0.
Does it cost anything to play a season?
No. Making an account, playing ranked seasons, the leaderboards and the badges are all free.
Which games count toward a season?
Games MutRadar reads from your stream, against a real opponent, in Madden NFL 27, that kick off while the season is on. Games against the computer, games in another Madden and tournament games do not count.
Can I play 1v1 in a season?
Yes, in beta. 1v1 has its own board and its own badges. MutRadar reads 1v1 games played in Madden’s Arcade or Simulation game style today; Madden’s Competitive game style, which the ranked head-to-head modes use, is coming soon.
Do seasons have playoffs?
Yes. When a season ends, the top four squads on each format’s board, in 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3, play a one-night, single-elimination playoff, with the next two on standby, and the winner is that format’s season champion. A squad needs at least five games that season to qualify, and the playoff night is announced in the app and on the Discord.
How is the leaderboard ranked?
By wins, then point differential, then fewer losses. Squads level on all three share a place.
When are badges awarded?
When the season is final. Results can be reported for seven days after it ends; once that window closes with nothing still open, the board is frozen and the badges go out. During the season the app shows who leads the race for each one.
