Madden 27 MUT Squads Tips for 2v2

In 2v2 MUT Squads one of you runs the offense and one runs the defense, so split the reading the same way: the OC watches what has worked against their defense, the DC watches what they run on the down coming up. MutRadar puts both on one board read from your streams, so each seat sees its own side at the same moment and party chat stays on the call.

One board, two seats

A MutRadar party has a seat for every member of the squad. Each coordinator is shown their own side of the ball: the Offense seat sees the offense cards and the Defense seat sees the defense cards. It is the same board, filtered by role, read at the same moment. Nobody has to describe what they just saw while the next play is already being called.

Roles are set in the party lobby. Anyone in the party can set anyone's seat, and the choice is remembered as that player's default for the next party. Each squad has one open party at a time, so when your teammate presses Start they join yours and take a seat.

What the OC should watch

The offense cards grade your own calls against their defense after the play: worked or stuffed, and by how many yards. A card says from results when it rests on something that actually happened in your games, and no results yet when it does not. When a call of yours keeps getting stuffed, the board says so.

The tip is simple: go back to what worked, and when the card says no results yet, know that you are guessing. A guess is fine on first and ten. It is a poor way to play third and long.

What the DC should watch

The defense cards show how this opponent has played the down coming up, out of the look they are showing: the formation and personnel are read off their pre-snap panel and paired with the play that followed, from your games against them. The cards fire on the downs that decide drives: third and long, fourth down, after a score, after the ball changes hands, and when they keep showing the same look.

Read the sample size before the percentage. A tendency only gets a percentage at three snaps or more; below that the board says seen once or two of two, and that is a note, not a read. A read MutRadar cannot stand behind is left blank.

Keep the chat on the call

One line per snap, from the seat that owns it: the read and the call. The board remembers what they ran, so nobody has to, and the argument about what happened two drives ago can wait for the game page.

Before you go live, each of you saves your own Twitch or YouTube channel in Profile, under Stream, and turns low latency on. Stream the full screen with the HUD uncovered: the top strip with the gamertags, the bottom bar with the score, clock and down and distance, the top-right play-call panel and the final score card. Facecam and chat go on the left.

How MutRadar handles it

MutRadar reads each player's public Twitch or YouTube broadcast, the same way a viewer does, and nothing is installed on the console, so a PS5 and an Xbox player can share a squad. Off the stream it reads the scorebug (teams, score, quarter, clock, down and distance, who has the ball and the field position), the opponent's formation and personnel off the pre-snap panel, and both play names off Madden's previous-play card. From how the down and distance and the score change it works out yards, first downs, turnovers and scores. Every snap goes into that opponent's book.

Live, the party page has a Coach tab and a Highlights tab, the matchup, the streams being tracked and the live events as they are read. After the game, the game page has the box score, counted like Madden's team stats, the did it work table for both sides, and the highlight reel of your big plays, clipped automatically.
